The heritage buildings and historic landscapes of the former British Residency underwent many transformations since its construction in 1803 reflecting not only its changing use but also the British period to its current context. The preparation of the Detailed Project Report and the ongoing restoration is being conducted with the support and collaboration between various organizations. The aim of the project is to restore and adaptively reuse the historic buildings and historic landscapes.
Heritage Matters is responsible for the preparation of Conservation Management Plan, Planning and Implementation of Restoration works in a phased manner, prepare an adaptive reuse plan to address the needs of academic activities of the Women’s College and needs of visitors to the site.
